In responce to the 2006 United Nations General Assembly Special Session Review on HIV and AIDS. Ecumenical Advocacy Alliance is hosting a prayer service in titled Standing Together: Love Keeps the Promise. This service will be a culminating point for people of all faiths to come together in peace to raise our voices in remembrance, prayer and commitment - united for a world without AIDS. This service will take place on May 30, the eve of the United Nations High Level Meeting on AIDS where governments will come together to review and renew the commitments made in 2001.
Invited keynote speakers include United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan and former President Bill Clinton. Featured musical performances include: Lavender Light Gospel Choir, Simply Skins – Daughters of the Drum and the Stonewall Chorale.
UNAIDS has extended their support for the service.
The offerings from the service will be donated to the International Community of Women Living with HIV/AIDS www.icw.org and the Children’s Hope Foundation www.childrenshope.org.
This event is for: Everyone. Invited guests include ambassadors and civil society attending the review, elected officials, clergy of prominent faith communities, local leadership from AIDS service organizations, people living with HIV or AIDS and faith communities from throughout New York City. The media are also invited.

E,V or 6 train to 51st Street, walk west one block towards Park Ave.
4,5,6,7 or S train to Grand Central walk north to 51st and Park Ave.
F,N,R or W to 59th Street. Walk west towards Park Ave and then south to 51st Street.
