At the The International Cultural Exchange on ICT and HIV/AIDS around Nigeria 2006, participants will be going around Nigeria and visiting various youth projects and communities. Participants will be volunteering and working with various organisations on ICT and HIV/AIDS programs. We will also be visiting various Nigerian tourism attractions like the wild life park in Jos, mountain climbing in Ekiti and swimming at the water falls in Osun, the refugees camp in Ogun State.
The one month exchange on ICT, cultural exchange and HIV/AIDS will be an opportunity where students spend time with other Nigerian college students and assist with community development projects in the above sectors. Last year we had a city councillor from Canada Adam Giambrone, Kenhinde Bah a youth activist and member of the Canadian youth Cabinet, Lisa Davis a VSO volunteer from the UK, and Nkoli Udoji a volunteer from the USA. This year in February we had the city councillor again, Anderas Wagner an exchange student from Germany and exchange students from Ghana. I hope to have 10 students this summer.
Particpation fee is $600
