In January 2007, around two hundred young people will meet in Nairobi, Kenya for the founding congress of the Global Young Greens. This is amazing opportunity for us all to meet, learn from each other, and build a strong foundation for the Global Young Greens. In Nairobi we will vote on our structure, activities and elect the board of Global Young Greens. Possible outcomes include: holding a biennial congress, regular seminars, exchanges and internships, plus taking on
global campaigns.
We are also likely to have both individuals and organisations as members, and set up an office somewhere on this blue planet. After the congress we can relax and attend the World Social Forum with 100,000 others.
