For five consecutive years, the Youth Tennis Open-BNP Paribas Cup has been an unique occasion to celebrate UNESCO’s commitment to the values of sports.
This year, UNESCO’s actions at the Open will revolve around workshops on anti-doping and the concept of "Learning to lose". Focusing on young international tennis hopefuls and their support systems (parents and coach), this collaboration aims to put into perspectives the aspects of competition such as "victory" and "defeat".
UNESCO will host a cultural evening on July 15th, marking the closure of the week of events before the grand finale on the 16th in Roland Garros.
