NATIONAL INTER-CAMPUS HEALTH SUMMIT (NICHS)

This summit is being organized by the Inter-campus+Community Development (ICCD), this happens to be the very first of its summits with a special focus on the Millennium Development Goals: its strategy & actions.
Summit Goals
1 - To empower participant student/youths from campus and campus communities to help implement these goals in their communities.
2 - To stir-up developmental initiatives/strategies and advocacy on the Millennium Development Goals.
3 - To build-up the spirit of nation building
Participants: are drawn from all tertiary campuses, especially students and recent graduates should write 250 words of their developmental initiatives with a focus on the Millennium Development Goals.
Delegate Fee: successful delegates
#1000 (student fee) includes food and accommodation
# 3000 (corporate bodies)
$200 for international delegates (includes food and accommodation)

Its strategy & actions on campus and communities.
Attendees: 500 students/youths with developmental initiatives from tertiary campuses.
This summit will encompass discussion on burning initiatives providing best strategy to carry out such projects.
Program description: the Inter-campus+Community Development (ICCD) Annual heath summit is a three –day program with four workshops concurrently conducted throughout the summit on Environmental workshop, Health and pharmaceuticals, Human development & Nation building, Women and children.
Day 1 - The summit begins with an opening speech by the special adviser to the president on the Millennium Development Goals and four hour workshop sessions throughout the day broken up by lunch and tea breaks - discussions are conducted between delegates and speakers who are experts in that field.
Day 2 - consists of a plenary panel and more workshop sessions.
Day 3 - delegates present their initiatives to fellow delegates and a panel of strategy respondents, it finishes with a cocktails.
