Parihaka International Peace Festival
Aotearoa's only community-owned peace festival is back with more musicians, artists, speakers, workshops, films & visitors from around the globe.
If you were at Parihaka last time, you will be back.
If you missed out in 2006, join us this time.
Te Atamiranui, Te Taumatakitenga (Visionaries Stage) and other stages return with more than 100 hours of the finest performers.
There will also be a Tamariki Kids Zone for the kids; the Speakers Forum with korero challenging socio-cultural, political, economic, peace and justices issues; Film Festival showing new and previous works; Te Ao Marama empowerment area, alternative healing, spiritual and environmental workshops; Carving and Weaving centred in the festival village; and many more.
E-are available from th 12th of September at www.parihaka.com. We are proudly the first festival event in Aotearoa to offer e-Ticketing which will save you money.
Buy online, and your personalised ticket will be emailed to you. Available at only $99 until November 4th 2006, and thereafter $135. Children up to 15 years and adults over $60 years are $10 per ticket. Full price tickets are available from Ticketek and Cosmic Corner stores after November 4th. Tickets cover entry, camping and parking and will be exchanged for a wristband at the front gate.
