The Young African Activist’s Summit (YAAS 2007) is a summit that will bring together fifty participants, especially young African activists. This three days summit will focus on proper channel of sharing resources for sustainable development partnership in Africa, creating a strong network of young African activists to join hands globally for sustainable development, education, Illiteracy, fight against AIDS, good health and good water system, etc.
YAAS 2007 was initiated in 2006 by Pochi Tamba of Cameroon and Thomas of Liberia, two young African activists.
The YAAS 2007 is to create a central system (An African Network) where young African activists can share information and know more about the activities of one another. Furthermore, The YAAS 2007 will provide a forum for the sharing of resources (Human and Financial) that should strengthen and consolidate the activities of young African activists.
YAAS 2007 will also be a forum of mutual support were members discuss their projects and ideas with other youths of the continent and mutually and morally support one another.
The organizers shall take care of logging and feeding during the summit.

Young African Activists Summit 2007
Maya Initiatives, Cameroon and Youths for Human Rights, Liberia are hosting in Cameroon, in February 2007, the first coalition meeting of African young activists, with the aim of partner shipping for development.
