Local celebrities (Musicians,TV/Radio presenters,DJs)are to take turns at Chancellor college, in advocating for easy access and availabilty of Counseling and testing of HIV service.
The event is supporting a contribution to the implementation of the national efforts at scaling HIV testing and counselling and to achieve the goal of testing one million people by the end of 2007.
Targeting young people at a high learning Institution, who are mostly sidelined in different campaigns in this fight against the pandemic. And looking at the way of life in colleges their vulnerability to HIV/Aids is greater.
Other youth Focused organisations are to support the campaign by providing counseling, VCT services and display what they are doing in the community targeting their peer.
VCT service to be provided right at the venue of the activity.
Among participnts will be UNICEF, National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) and National Aids Commission (NAC).
