DetailsAbout
STAND UP is part of a global advocacy effort to set an official Guinness World Record - the greatest number of people ever to STAND UP Against Poverty and for the Millennium Development Goals.

A joint initiative of GCAP (Make Poverty History in the UAE) and the UN Millennium Campaign, the Stand Up Challenge will take place in Schools and offices throughout the country between 2:00pm and 12pm

The Challenge can be initiated almost anywhere by means of an extremely simple process.

Groups are urged to take part whether they are two people or two thousand people as everyone counts in the fight against global poverty.
