Information Technology (IT) is the largest component of the science and technology industry and this is why more and more governments in Africa today are placing a strong emphasis on IT sector development. Particularly in South Africa, the government has implemented a number of frameworks for policies, infrastructure, partnerships and task forces that will help South African communities play a role in the global economy.
While Africa has seen dramatic improvements in its communications and IT infrastructure over the past decade, the differences between Africa and the rest of the world remain enormous. In today’s intricate business environment, enterprises are challenged to operate with greater competency to heightened competitive advantage and ultimately ensure business success.
IT Africa Congress brings together the finest IT leaders from around the globe to discuss and network on the latest trends and challenges faced in the IT field. It will serve as a platform for executives to establish better understanding of the direction and advantages of technology. This will be accomplished through an exciting 6-streamed conference and a highly structured exhibition by a selection of the major players in the IT service provider industry. |
