The CIVICUS Youth Assembly 2007 in Glasgow, Scotland was a great opportunity for youth all over the world to get together and discuss the impact of civil society in the areas of accountability and transparency towards a more just and equitable world. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to attend this event and meaningfully engage with my peers over the issues that concern youth locally and globally. One of the only disappointments was it was too short!
