The SYJED continues through this Worckamp, an adaptive approach i.e. to cause in the children their potential of comprehension and resolution of their problems to undertake educational socio activities with the children.
By The educational animation socio with the children a dynamics by and for the children must be able to allow an awakening and a responsibilisation of the community on their identified priority problems. It is thus logical that the children are listened, that their positions are taken with serious and they draw to cause their own changes. Also the children have an immense capacity to learn but especially to teach with their pars just like with their elder.
This type of Workcampis opened to the volunteers who have aptitudes to work with children and who will be able to accept their characteristics They will frame and animate the children on concepts of general culture through plays and games situations in educational and instructive matter. The children will be brought by these various activities to discover another manner of training.
Otherway, the victims of STD and of the AIDS become increasingly numerous in our country and especially in the rural populations. That is due to under information or a lack of informations on the plague in our populations. The aim of this workckamp is to inform our populations through sensitisation. The volunteers will have to organize general public awareness campaigns (days of the market) and carries to door the other days. That will be done through Sketches, plays, passage of films with accompanying notes, the distribution of the condoms, carnivals organized and carried out by the volunteers. A formation is envisaged at the beginning of the building site.
N.B. The volunteers while coming can also bring posters, reviews, folders, visual audio elements if possible on the AIDS, of the condoms…
Work to make:
- work will in general consist in animating the children in several workshops made up: workshop of drawing, painting and modelling; of song and dance; of tale and sketch etc.…. The volunteers will work five hours each morning and after midday will be free and be able to be devoted to exchanges cultural with the accessible community. The volunteers are invited to bring plays and all that can contribute to the animation of the children. They can also present cultural aspects typical of their country (songs, dances, plays)
- the volunteers with their train in STD/HIV/AIDS, will train in their turn the young people of the village as even teachers who will help them in their sensitizing and this even after the departure of the volunteers. They will make sensitizing of proximity (door-to-door): they will pass from houses in houses to discuss in small groups with the population, the Sensitizing of mass: sensitizing will be done in a place public with all the population, occasion to make the synthesis of the proximity. According to the size of the communities, sensitizing can be done in several close villages. The means of mobilization of sensitizing are: the talks discusses, the plays, the theatre, distribution of the condoms; folders D’information and posters; the volunteers and the young people of the village will occur at the end of the Workcampin play. The volunteers can provide themselves with the hoods, female of the posters and posters short all for a campaign. Work will be always 5 a.m.. You can bring materials if possible (preventive, extendible, posters …)
