The Global Youth Forum Humanitarian Conference (GYFHC) is a follow-up program to PTPI's annual Global Youth Forum. The GYFHC is designed as an opportunity to enhance the experiences had at the GYF and provide an opportunity for students to meet and interface directly with people of other cultures.
Both the inaugural GYFHC to South Africa in 2005 and this past summer's program to Russia were major successes as students engaged in multiple humanitarian projects while gaining an understanding of the local people, culture and history that created such a need. Many students expressed that the program couldn’t help but make an impact in their lives and in how they view the world.
Join PTPI's President/CEO, Mary Jean Eisenhower, as she leads our 3rd Annual Global Youth Forum Humanitarian Conference (GYFHC) to the magical country of Morocco! GYFHC participants will travel through the cultural riches of the cities of Casablanca, Marrakech and the indigenous High Atlas Mountains where they will have the opportunity to meet new friends and exchange ideas face-to-face.
While in Morocco, students will meet PTPI’s Casablanca-based Sultans of Peace Student Chapter members and continue the great work the chapter started in an indigenous Berber village in the High Atlas Mountains. Other exciting parts of the journey include attending a spectacular dinner and show in the “Arabian Nights” tradition and visiting the U.S. Consul’s residence in Casablanca!
