Name of the Open Forum: Involvement of Youth in Decision Making
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
The Open Forum will focus on the current situation of the country with special emphasis on the role of youth and the possible part they can play to improve/change the situation.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
The socio-political situation of the country as described by many youth members of the University/community is hopeless and something must be done about it. This discussion will help us move towards a strategy that the youth should have to put a positive impact on the passive state the youth are in. We need to provide a platform to the youth to air their views and ideas.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding this Open Forum for youth in the community:
We hope to build change agents/innovators that get a boost in getting up and doing something! May one single step from anyone, who previously hoped to share opinions with others but did not manage to do so due to unavailability of proper platform now be able to make change.
