This is the 5th anniversary of the BYCD. The Black
Youth Conference Day is an annual event that gathers
black youth from across the Ottawa school system in
order to engage them in conversation, empowering them to be active participants in the discovery,
manifestation, and articulation of their visions for themselves, the black community and the world.
