Widely regarded as one of the great public speakers of the era, Dr. Helen Caldicott is an articulate and passionate advocate of citizen action to remedy the nuclear and environmental crises. Caldicott co-founded Physicians for Social Responsibility, founded Women’s Action for Nuclear Disarmament, and was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by Linus Pauling, himself a Nobel Laureate. Smithsonian Institute has named Dr Caldicott as one of the most influential women of the 20th Century. Her latest book is entitled Nuclear Power is Not The Answer. Book signing to follow. Lecture and parking are free.
