FIFTH ANNUAL GLOBAL YOUTH SERVICE DAY (GYSD) April, 20-23, 2007
On behalf of ASASS-Burundi’s Broad, we are pleased to announce that Local Organizer of the Celebration of Fifth annual Global Youth Service Day at Burundi, is to organizing ceremonies of Global Youth Service Day at Bujumbura-Burundi.
Both Global Youth Action Network and Local Organizer in Burundi of this event have endeavoured to draw up an interesting and attractive programme for youth Leaders of Local and International Organizations, adults association which working on behalf of Youth and Children, public and private Organization and ONG.
The Fifth annual GYSD is scheduled for three days: 20th-22nd, April. 2007.
During those great days, there will be a variety of extremely interesting Workshop, walks, Worship and Praise sessions, exchange of ideas, Hospital and Health Centre Visits, which we also encourage to attend. This how activities are scheduled:
1. Property activities of the communities
2. Walk manifestations (To show happiness and joy to the Government which has deleted school fees to all children in the primary schools and orphans,…)
3. Concert (Worship and praise) while waiting our Guests (Excellence President of Republic of Burundi and others…)
4. Workshop on HIV/AIDS
5. Visits in the Hospitals and in the Health Centres
6. Debates and ideas exchanging session on behaviour changing ( 1st party)
7. Choosing Volunteers Youth Leaders of a new NETWORK from in different organizations, regions…

Meals and transport will be provided free of charge. Please note: GUESTS FROM OUT OF BURUNDI ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO FILL THE FORMS AND RETURN THEM TO OUR OFFICE VIA EMAIL.
THE NUMBER OF PARETICIPANT WILL NOT PASS 900 YOUTH VOLUNTEERS (Participants) AGED FROM 10 TO 28 YEAR OLD.
We think that the discussion and critical analyses which will take place, will help us refocus our days-to-day work in public health and development renew our communities to the inhabitant of the world and make us ware of the need for a creative contribution through Volunteering service and research activities.
