TakingITGlobal is hosting a forum on Capacity Building with Virtual Tools: How grassroots communities can expand networks and enrich resources.
Why the theme? So that Youth doing Grassroots work in their Communities can come together and create a dialogue piece, on how to engage people with online tools in order to effect change on a local scale. The intended outcome of the forum is for participants to have fun! while coming up with web based solutions to overcome challenges faced by grassroots communities and its members.
The forum will include artist performances, free food and drinks as well as a discussion piece on the theme. Also a fantastic place to network and socialize, this up-and-coming event is hopefully something worth marking your calendars for (right now!). |
