The Youth for Community Academic and Development Services (YOCADS), a Liberian based youth organization that is engaged in the advocacy and awareness capaign on the Millennium Develpment Goals(MDGs) in schools and communities will be hosting an interactive youth/students forum on the MDGs on the theme:'Strategies for Youth Empowerment in Achieving the MDGs" Based upon the huge need to adequately inform youth, students and communities dwellers on their involvement in the achievement of the MDGs, YOCADS have decided to host a program at the D. Tweh Memorial High School located in New Kru Town on the Bushrod Island, Monrovia Liberia.
Additionally, the forum is expected to bring together representatives from Ministries of Education, Youth and Sports, UN-Habitat and UNDP-Liberia to speak on the above theme from their own area of focus/work. Finally, more information will be send to you.
