Implicit in any discussion of social justice is the prevalent widespread social injustice, and this conference will emphasize social responsibility. The goal of this conference is to increase awareness and understanding of complicated but important issues, in the hopes that better understanding will promote action and positive changes.
Targetted specifically at High School students, this conference will highlight issues through workshops, simulations, keynote speakers and different kinds of discussion groups ranging from panel discussions with professionals to student groups addressing specific issues. The emphasis will be based on interaction and participation. |
