What type of skills, on top of our job / professional skills, do you think young professionals need to develop to help to achieve the Millennium Development Goals?
Please vote in the poll below and add more ideas via the discussion thread.
We will use this to try to ensure there are appropriate skills sessions during IYPS2008 and to find speakers / workshop coordinators to meet these needs. So please speak up!

i've run a funky, fun workshop at Oxfam International Youth Parliament and other places - maybe even at IYPS 2004? can't recall - called 'Business Planning For Social Change'.
would be happy to refresh it and give it a crack.

I can give a workshop on
How could Social Media be used to increase participation inside the hierarchy of an enterprise.
It is a link between Media and Communications and Diversity management. but it is more of the later [social inclusion]
I would be of benefit also with
developments in the practical role of Public Relations / Media divisions in companies
Other topics I can help with well are:
Media illiteracy and Media message analysis, Argumentation, Communication skills, Planning and Controlling, Risk assessment, Systems and Creative thinking, Negotiation skills, Problem solving and decision making, Stress management.

Well I think in the spirit of IYPF I think it would be very appropriate to have a session on how to collaborate and do virtual project work with people
in other countries?
It's relevant to IYPF, and useful once for delegates working with other similar minded people when they go back to their own countries.
