Cos'è

For the first time ever, the Asia Pacific Cities Summit (APCS) registration fee will be fully subsidised for 100 selected young people. Businesses and participating Cities will sponsor the AUD $1250 delegate registration fee for young people across the region.

Selected delegates will be among 100 emerging young leaders that have the opportunity to participate alongside Asia Pacific’s Political and Business Leaders. The APCS Youth Forum is an international Youth Forum, which has been organised by young people to ensure that it will be FUN and relevant to you.

As long as you are between 16 and 25 at the time of the conference, and live in the Asia Pacific Region, you can apply.

The Summit is from Friday 31 August to Monday 3 September 2007, the theme is "Renewing Asia Pacific Cities' and the summit will look at the issues of:

* sustainability
* livability
* economic development
* leadership and governance

For the first time the APCS will include a Youth Forum within the general event. During the Youth Forum you will have the opportunity to build strong connections with other young emerging leaders across the world.
