Theme: The Growing Menace of Cyber Crime In Nigeria:Causes, Effects and Solutions
Introduction
In Nigeria,it was thought that installation of a democratic governemnet in the year 1999 would reduce the increasing rates of social menace in our country, but what we are witnessing today is the opposite.
Cyber crime is one of the dreaded vices , an influenza that has no respect for the law of the land, one of the social flukes that is repsonsible for the ongoing global economic doldrum
Cyber Trust International Project is a project aimed at curbing the menace of cyber crime in Nigeria, an initiative of Net Impact, Nigeria affliates with Net Impact USA.
Objectives
-To enable participants acquire an indepth knowledge , and be furnished with facts , information about the menace of Cyber crime ,besides, to enligthen them on variuos strategies to curb the menace of cyber crime in their variuos communities
-To create an interractive forum which will enable participants contribute their own quota to the on-going campaign project.
