The Anna Lindh Euro-Meditrranean Foundation in cooperation with the (SDA) Sustainable Development Assocation are organizing The Big Jump Day Alexandria on July 15,2007 at 10:00AM on Beau Rivage Beach- Miami Alexandria

The Big Jump is a festive occasion to gather people along rivers and sea beaches, while sharing experiences and ideas about water issues in an inter-cultural framework. This year’s Big Jump is scheduled to take place in six locations:

Alexandria (Egypt)
Emilia-Romagna (Italy)
Jordan River (Jordan)
Tanger (Morocco)
Barcelona (Spain)
Allier-Loire River(France).
The 2007 edition of the Big Jump Day will be the opportunity to test the feasibility to extend the Big Jump across the whole Euro-Med region in 2008, International Year of Inter cultural Dialogue.

The day will be divided into a number of activities such as Beach Cleaning, An Imagination Station Activity, Treasure Hunt Competition, Games & Sports, THE BIG JUMP DAY and Civil society open space , involving all age groups located at the 100 metres of the Beach in Alexandria.
