The First Global World Youth Bank Summit on Youth Employment will be organized by the WYB Coordinating Unit for Operational Activities of the World Youth Bank International Expert Economic Board in cooperation with the World Assembly of Youth, Youth Employment Summit, Croatian National Youth Council and Croatian Youth Bank Organizing Committee as a follow-up to the Millennium Summit recommendations referring to the vulnerable social groups and poverty alleviation, as well as to the recommendations of the High-level Panel of the Youth Employment Network (A/54/422), the World Youth Bank mandate to promote entrepreneurship and Youth Employment throughout the World, and the recommendations of the WAY Melaka International Youth Dialogue Action Plan and Special Resolution, encouraging the UN-ILO-WB Youth Employment Network to request the regional commissions, within their respective mandates and resources, to support national efforts in their respective regions in eviction of poverty and unemployment on all levels.
