GRASP: A Youth Opportunity Forum is an amazing youth event that links you directly with many youth opportunities. It is held on Saturday September 28th 2002 at the Mississauga City Hall starting at 10am. The purpose of the forum is to inspire and inform youth to get involved in organizations, and opportunities that they are passionate about.
GRASP plans to achieve this in two main ways. The first is a collection of many booths, where the youth can meet a variety of active youth oriented organizations. These booths focus on volunteering, jobs, youth advocacy, travel and some that are just for fun. Secondly, GRASP will have three amazing special guest speakers who will motivate and inspire youth to take action and get involved in many issues. These speakers have experience in youth empowerment and will be talking about dynamic topics such as youth leadership and concrete action plans. Once again GRASP will take place on Saturday the 28th of September 2002, at the Mississauga City Hall near Square One, 300 City Centre Drive.
GRASP is totally non profit and organized by youth for youth. It directly links youth, like you, with a variety of active youth organizations. This way YOU can pick and choose which organizations YOU want to get involved in. Plus we have amazing motivational and inspirational speakers talking about issues such as leadership and concrete ways to take action. GRASP will offer amazing OPPORTUNITIES, FUN, FOOD, LIVE MUSIC and GREAT PRIZES. So make sure on Saturday September 28th at the Mississauga City Hall you come down to get inspired and involved on local and even global projects while having FUN.
Lastly, GRASP is supported by MYLINK which is a youth organization sponsored by the City of Brampton. GRASP is also sponsored by Canon Canada Inc. and the Mayor |
