Nepal Rural Information Technology Dvelopment Society(NRIDS), District Government of Syangja District and Grass roots NGOS are organizing a National Forum on Youth and ICT for Rural Transformation of Nepal. Youth and ICT plays an important role to uplift the lving standard of youth themselves and the community they live in.Rural Trasformation through ICT would ultimately result to meet the Millenium Development Goals also.The Forum aims at actively engaging youth in debates and discussions with their peer representatives, policy makers, private sector, technology and thought leaders and others in exploring ways to empower the community and to participate more fully in society through the appropriate and responsible use of ICT.
In this forum there will be an active participation of the Grassrots people who are willing to work and are working for the propmotion of ICTs in the Rural Areas. This Conference would collect the Grassroot voices of the Marginalized community,prepare an enviroment to share the best practices and innovations amongst national as well as international delagates. By and large this Conference would publish a proceeding with the objective to recommend the government for the Effective E-Governance implementation in Nepal. As this Event is goign to take place outside Kathmadu - in Syangja District. This kind of conference Organizing in rural district would also encourage the Rural Communities. We invite Youngsters from all over the world to share their Expereinces about role of ICTs to Transform a Rural Communities.Policy Makers,major Stakeholders,Private Companies,Government dignatories participation is also Expeted. |
