The UAC HIV/AIDS initiative is for all men and women of the University of Buea. This initiative willl take the form of sensitization, education, debate, press releases,candle burning, a match pass from the campus to a specified area,cultural animations,outreach programmes to the community and many others. The rate of HIV/AIDS infection in Cameroon is growing alarmingly and is at a stagering rate of 12%. Although there is an awareness, most of the people still do not believe the presence of this deadly disease. This initiative will target men and women of the univesity of Buea, in order to equip them with basic life skills that can enable them to cope with reproductive health and sexuality issues.
Through this medium, we really desire to appeal for financial support to enable us to execute this very important project.
