So the researchers on this theme are expected to observe impacts of climate change in Langtang National Park and its impact in mountain tourism.

• Tourism Pro’s and con’s
Tourism has always been cross cutting issue which brings both positive changes and negatives consequences. Mountain areas of Nepal are popular destinations for travelers all over the world. Tourism not only brings economic prosperity but also leads to cultural amalgamation and loss of indigenous identity and cultural practices. Environmental impacts of tourism cannot be overlooked. In this research the researchers on this theme are expected to observe these positives and negatives of tourism in Langtang National Park and explore opportunities.

• Socio- Cultural practices
Every cultural practice has its distinctive importance in resource mobilization and social integrity. The research team will try to document and find out the interrelation between Cultural practices with the resources mobilization and resource generation along with its significance in environment, wildlife and natural resources conservation. Tibetan lifestyle and as mentioned earlier unique cremation are few of lot aspects of mountain culture that researchers in this theme are expected to investigate.

• Wildlife and Natural Resources
Langtang National Park is naturally very rich with many species of flora and fauna situated within its frontier. In this theme the research team will try to find the role and extent to which national park has helped in protection of wildlife and natural resources.
