| This program aims to bring together youth from Guatemala and the U.S. to explore the root causes of violence and social injustice in Guatemala, particularly its impact in youth and indigenous communities. We will seek to better understand the legacy of Guatemala’s 36-year armed conflict its impact on the Guatemalan people, as well as reflect on how policies and practices in the U.S. have affected the lives of ordinary Guatemalans. Spanish proficiency is required. |
