~Philosophy "e-ducation 2003"~

Building off the success of the 2001 conference the "e-ducation Without Borders 2003" conference - February 22nd to 24th 2003 - will be the portal by which global approaches regarding implementation of technology in education and life-long learning are explored. The conference is designed to be a platform for discussions and focus groups that initiate dialogue within the parameters of the conference; ultimately cascading out into the global community. By providing high profile keynote speakers it is intended to create an environment unlike any other learning opportunity the delegates previously had experienced.
~Conference Objectives~

1. Create an environment conducive to the transfer of information, ideas and concepts.
2. Expose delegates to a variety of cultures and philosophies drawn from a global pool.
3. Provide a nucleus of high profile speakers that will increase delegate's perspectives on a variety of issues and topics.
4. Provide the latest technologies and their interrelationship with the learning process.
5. Provide a catalyst for e-ducation.
6. Profile the UAE and the HCT as purveyors of high quality education with concern to their role in the global community.
~Cost~
--------
Students are expected to fund their own travel to the UAE but while at the conference their accommodation and other associated costs will be met by Abu Dhabi Men's College. Other participants will be required to pay a nominal registration fee, accommodation and other associated costs. |
