Awareness of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has certainly grown recently in Asia and the push for companies to get involved in tangible CSR initiatives is coming from a range of different stakeholders. However, at CSR Asia, we have always stressed that the social and environmental risks facing businesses and investors in this region are often very different to those existing in Europe or America.
The topics that will be addressed by expert speakers have been chosen because of their relevance to ongoing risks and opportunities in this part of the world. Given the line-up of presenters we are sure that delegates will come away inspired by challenges and solutions to some of the big CSR questions that companies are asking themselves. We will be dealing with the issues and concerns that are most likely to impact on companies in Asia. We will be pointing to the issues that companies need to be dealing with and the strategies and initiatives to get them there. |
