This is a forum for youth to learn, share and experience mutual understanding , friendship and cooperation among the world faiths communities through real conversation on what are the things that matter most, can be the agents of a peaceful change in the ijebu region . The ALLIJEBUYOUTHSUMMIT will bring 200 young people ages 18-30 from around the region that have actively engage or interested in development.
The program perspective will discuss and elaborate the Millennium Development Goals and formulate a strategic action plan toward a peaceful region. The long-term goal of this program are:
To promote a mutual understanding friendship and cooperation among interfaith, international and inter-civilization youth and successful men in the region.
To bring clarity of divisive issues and help forge greater understanding towards peace.
To create peace network among Ijebu youths and leaders.
To provide creative space for peace thoughts, business opportunities, entrepreneurship, interaction and social movement.
To comprehend and create strategic cation plan and recommendation on ending poverty in the ijebu region and achieving MDGs2015
PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES
This program will offer a mixture of speakers sharing their own experience of development, peace-building toward MDGs and youth empowerment issues, Local government paper session, inner reflection...
