The service project include one day event . it will take place on Sunday 27 April 2008 through engaging 160 volunteer from ages 5-14 years from four schools, two primary schools for boys and girls and two secondary schools one for boys and one for girls, these schools are located in the capital Baghdad . Two of These schools are located in ALShaab city and include Agnadeen primary school for boys and girls and the other is Salah ALdeen which is a secondary school for boys. The two other schools are located in Hay ALTarbiya which include ALShaheed Adel Nasser primary school for boys and girls and Hunaeen secondary school for girls. The event will take place at 9am-10:30am in the primary schools and at 11am-12.30am in the secondary schools. 40 volunteer from each school will participate in this event.
The members of the partners organizations will divide into four groups each group will be responsible on the follow up of the activities in each school .Mr. Ali ALSaeedy the president of the municipal council of ALAdamiya province will have an opening speech. The service project will include a medical training program on the first aids and emergency treatment of burns and injuries. Two doctors will invite to present burns and injuries management session in addition to practical explanation to the partner volunteers on the first aids kit components and how to use it in the treatment of patients and making the emergency medical managements required. This training program will develop the skills of the participating volunteers and learning them the principles for first aids treatment so that they will be able to manage the cases that required emergency treatment whether in their schools and home or even in the street .Each school will receive first aid supplies in addition to the posters that explain the steps of burns and injuries treatment will hang on the walls of the classrooms , The occasion will end with presenting sweets and drinks to the participants
