Admission is by donation.
We make decisions about Climate Change every time we choose a mode of transportation, generate waste, heat or cool our houses or businesses, and every time we buy anything. This is where our theatre event begins.
But there is no script and there are no actors. Someone in the audience will offer a story from his or her own life about a struggle related to climate change. We will use theatre to explore this story and look for ways we can all learn from it and make healthier choices in our own lives.
Led by Daniel Thau-Eleff and Loc Lu, Two Degrees of Adaptation is the Winnipeg installment of a world-wide theatre event. Theatrical Climate Change events will be held on March 16 in more than 40 cities, all over the world, initiated by Vancouver’s Headlines Theatre (www.headlinestheatre.com). |
