April 25 will be the second day of the celebrations of Global Youth Service Day 2008.
Meeting at Trinity Moravian Church at 8am, five teams will go out to 4 different schools and a nursing home to carry out beautification projects, by painting, cleaning planting flowers and more.
At 12 noon a series of 6 a side football matches among members of the community will commence to complete the day. We hope to form a community football group with the young people who participate in the event.
The aim of all the events is to rekindle the spirit of volunteerism in the young people and to have them becoming active in their community\'s development. |
