LESOTHO CLUB 25 SCHOOL DEBATE
Club 25 is a concept that can be used to educated people about the importance of blood donation and how youth should live a healthy lifestyle. Club 25 is focusing on mitigating HIV among youth and increasing voluntary blood donors. HIV and blood donation both can be used for the each other, Lesotho club25 is focusing on providing solution to two public health strategies thus HIV prevention and blood donation.
On the 17/05/08 Lesotho club25 hosted debate competition for southern High Schools, 11 schools took part in the competition. Students really showed understanding of voluntary blood donation and why as the future leaders they should live a healthy lifestyle. Some of participants have indicated how this youth strategy has encouraged them to change their attitude to wards life.
Points of students who were selected as best 10 show that they did their home work. I believe that these students will apply what they learned in their research in life. I am proud to announce that these students are ready to accept any challenge from their peers around the global.
