Join Creative Cause (“CC”) and young creative entrepreneurs for the Spring 2008 Speaker Series on “Creativity Matters: Top Ten Ways to Create for the Cause” at Artomatic 2008 highlighting ways to bring awareness and action on issues impacting the community and what youth and your creativity can do about it.

As part of Learnapalooza, CC is holding this free creative workshop to youth and professionals to connect their creativity to addressing causes from health, education, environment, to social issues that impact our communities. There you will learn campaigns and projects in your area and volunteer/mentor opportunities involving the arts, media, marketing, entertainment, and design.

Who should attend?

Youth and professionals in the creative sector discuss and highlight ways they are using their creativity for good.

About the organizations:

Creative Cause is a Washington, DC-based social enterprise dedicated to using creativity to raise awareness and action on social causes and encourage the next generation of leaders to harness their creativity to address social issues in their community. We accomplish this by hosting educational, outreach and community service events throughout the year. C.W.B.N. is an Internet-based television network, addressing politics, and other issues that concern the youth population as a whole. Original shows will be in production that will consist of (but not limited to) news shows, satirical videos, talk shows, and the like. One of the main goals of C.W.B.N. is to educate the community and give teenagers ages 13-24 a chance to experience journalism on both Television, and print and on the web. C.W.B.N. is an organization dedicated to educating the community on topics that are important and relevant to the youth.
