Youth are gathering together at the United Nations
to speak up for climate change!
The first annual Youth Leadership Summit, hosted by the UN Foundation in partnership with IDEA, the Open Society Institute and the National Forensic League, is an opportunity for young people from around the world to learn more about climate change. Participants will gather together for three days in New York City to meet UN officials, deepen their leadership and multimedia skills, and participate in an engaging service-learning project. ‘Finding Your Voice’ training session from Campus Camp Wellstone
Events will take place around the city with the first day being held at the United Nations and including a tour of the UN building and a keynote address by Dr. Robert Orr, Assistant Secretary-General for Policy Coordination and Strategic Planning.
