Lack of Career Counselors in Uganda's Schools has lowered the Quality of Education in the country yet all responsible stakeholders have turned a deaf ear or have done nothing more than talking about it. Since the colonial and post colonial times to-date, Uganda’s education system has made no advancement in response to the dynamics of this challenging work world. All decision makers, politicians, civil servants, and academicians in various capacities have channeled their efforts towards addressing problems which I believe; to a wider extent could be aftermaths of an obsolete and ham-fisted education system deficient of a necessity like Career Guidance and Counseling!
We setting out to advocate for inclusion of Career Counselors in all Primary and Secondary Schools for as long as it can take to get some answers! |
