Nigerians should celebrate.... - Posted By: Aare Kornar !

...and think. Been a Nigerian is something to be proud and tell. A land with such diversified intelligentsia with a load of resources yet untapped. A nation with so much to teach and learn and leaders that have become heroes of the past. That is my country, Nigeria.

Many may ask why i have changed my word on "A New Nigeria is possible" to "A New Nigeria has emerged". Yes, ask me. Ask me who has seen silence before to witness questions been asked. Ask me that has seen the barrel of not only guns but pens stir at me to ridicule a day or more in prison and i will tell you the story.

The story that we now ask and expect answers. We now stand rather than sit and wait for information to come to us. No nation started without a story and we are just forty-eight (48) ? Things must change but it would depend solely on your action and contribution.

It must start with me and a step...just a step. Never be afraid to make a false move, but care to take correction. Corrections given with the right intonation stirs a New Breed. A breed that surpasses diamond or human wealth. One that can offend a mountain to make it shift its weight. That is my Nigeria.

And should someone ask me why i am happy and proud at this age instead of looking at our achievement so far, i would say "Sorry, i can only see the bright side". Besides, with such ethnic diversification, Nigeria is still intact. I am black and proudly Nigerian...ask yourself, What can i contribute to make a difference and make Nigeria grow and its people, develop ?
