The Sydney 2003 Taste of the Nation Gala Dinner will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2003 at Rydges Jamison Sydney with an exciting line up of exquisite food, wine and entertainment.
Thanks to the donation of the venue, staff time, food, wine and entertainment, all funds raised on the night will help to support our youth-led community development projects through Oxfam's youth initiative - International Youth Parliament, across such areas as sustainable development, HIV/AIDS, and employment.
Each of the 5 courses served at the Taste of the Nation dinner will be prepared by a different high profile, Sydney chef and complemented with premium wines. Chefs donating their time and talent include: Peter Van Es of Rydges Jamison Sydney, Peter Evans of Hugo's, Louise Harper of Oh!Calcutta!, Darren Simpson of Aqua Luna, and Ashley Hughes from Alio.
To host the evening is radio journalist and novelist, Sarah MacDonald. Hear about the impact of IYP from Action Partner, Stanley Simpson, a 25 year old Fijian Islander who advocates for social justice and equity as Coordinator of the Pacific Network on Globalisation (PANG).
Tickets, priced at $150 per head may be purchased individually or in tables of 10.
Corporate sponsorship packages are also available. Priced at $5000, the sponsorship package provides a cost-effective vehicle for promoting your brand as well as entertaining staff and clients at the same time as supporting our development projects. Packages include:
