The Picture of a new Nigeria is what has moved TPY to continue in its trail blazing effort to sensitize the youth of a better future. TPY understands that this change is possible if and only if the mentality/ mindset of the populace of which the youths constitute a major percentage are changed.
The primary key to this change is mental empowerment and equipping of the Nigerian youth with a new kind of mentality that promotes integrity, ingenuity, wisdom, diligence, sincerity and the dignity of labour.
The “Be The Man” conference for the year 2008 captioned “ Building The Youth For National Development - New youth, New Nigeria’08”, which is a build – up on the inaugural edition held August 2007 focuses on making the youth know, understand and begin to act out their role in impacting their nation for positive and sustainable development.
We are optimistic that “New Youth, New Nigeria ‘08” would definitely create an inspiration factor in the minds of this young ones and spur them to work and just to excite them with the guest speakers.
