The project consists in the organization of the First World Congress addressed to young scientists and professionals working in the field of Earth sciences below 35 years. The congress also will involve young political leaders, representatives of civil society, organizations and associations worldwide. First proposal comes from Italy.
It is expected to articulate the Congress in a series of roundtables focusing on topics of global scientific and social significance (examples: mineral resources, energy resources, water etc.). The roundtables will involve young people not only as individuals but also as representatives of different organizations / associations active at national level in different countries. This will serve to widen the involvement of the international community and especially will help the dissemination of the results after the Congress. |
