The main purpose of the Nigerian National Youth Training Workshop Against Violence is to reduce the desire, and incidence of violence in Nigeria and to actively campaign for the use of creative and constructive approach to conflict resolution in Nigeria thereby building a climate of peaceful co-existence and reconciliation among Nigerians. This will be achieved through the peace education programme armed at sensitizing and educating the youths on the issues relating to peace building and conflict resolution.
