Peacebuilding: Strengthening Policy & Practice is designed to assist participants to identify constructive ways of engaging with the unpredictable and rapidly changing circumstances within which many humanitarian and development agencies work. It focuses on the relationship between policy and practice in complex situations.
This course is for staff of international and national agencies and those with advisory and management responsibility for humanitarian, development, rights and peacebuilding programmes. It is particularly relevant for those engaged in the planning and implementation of aid and development programmes and those concerned with developing policies for appropriate responses in complex political emergencies. |
