DetailsAbout
We are anticipating a great event that is taking place to raise awareness for the prevention of a genocide in Darfur.

'Visions for Darfur' is a dinner/speaker event in which one of the most prominent advocates for the cause, Debra Bodkin will be coming down as a speaker to share her experiences with us. Deborah Bodkin formally worked for the UN and with the US police force.

Cost of the Ticket is $25
For students $15

The evening will include -
Free Dinner (with cash bar)
Guest Speaker - Debra Bodkin
Rwandan Genocide Survivor Stories
A Silent Auction (Items donated by Ten Thousand Villages)
Traditional Dance Performance

All funds go to OXFAM CANADA to be further processed and sent to Darfur, Sudan. Donations can be made at the event through cheques and money orders or cash.

People who make donations above $10 will be issued a receipt for taxes by Oxfam after the event. Contact information will be taken down for processing of the receipts for a later date.

Our ultimate goal is to raise awareness, fundraise and to make a difference.
You can show your support by being part of our Oct 3rd event or by simply joining this group.
