Overview
For those with a strong interest in developing their skills in handling human rights violations. Participants will develop skills around identifying, fact-finding and documenting violations.

Who is it for?

For people with some theoretical knowledge of human rights, but not necessarily any field experience.

Course outline
Identify different types of human rights violations;
Become familiar with the principles of fact-finding and monitoring human rights;
Identify the different purposes for documenting human rights violations;
Develop skills on interviewing techniques to gather information;
And develop skills to write human rights reports.
