DetailsAbout
On December 11 Amnesty International Canada local group 112 will be celebrating Human Rights Day with a film screening and discussion. The film screened will be "Iraq's Lost Generation". This film explores the legacy of the Iraq war on Iraqi civilians and how it has impacted their lives in terms of being driven from their homes and losing their human rights in the process. A thought provoking experience, the film will be followed by a opportunity to join group members in their annual letter writing campaign to support human rights around the world. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is welcome, and so are family and friends, though some of the images in the film might be disturbing for young children. Come out on December 11 to meet new people, open your mind and change the world.
