Name of the Open Forum: YES Congress-2009

Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
How the nutritional value of 7 components ( Carbohydrates, Protein, Fats, Vitamins, Minerals, Water and Roughage )of food is affected by environmental pollutions, eating habits and life style of people.

Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
Every one of us is facing the problem of getting region ,income and individual specific balanced diet and even if we get it the nutritional value is affected a lot due to excessive use of chemical fertilizers, insecticides, pesticides, adulteration and other environmental pollutions. Discussion of these issues on and off line is essential for carrying out positive steps to make every one healthy and measures taken to ensure it will fight climate change issues too.

Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding this Open Forum for youth in the community:
Creating awareness and catalyzing youth to act as multiplier effect in taking measures to provide nutritious food in changing life style and degraded environment.
